By The Loss and Damage Collaboration

8/4/25

The climate crisis poses significant threats to sea turtles in Barbados, including sea-level rise impacting nesting habitats, increased extreme weather events, and warming temperatures affecting hatchling success. At the fifth meeting of the Board of the Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage, in Bridgetown, Barbados, Board members will discuss how the Fund will get to work in its start up phase, including how the FRLD will address non-economic loss and damage such as biodiversity loss.
