This brief details civil societies' demands for the operationalisation of the Santiago Network for averting, minimising, and addressing loss and damage associated with the adverse effects of climate change (SNLD) at UNFCCC COP 26 in Glasgow in November 2021. The SNLD was mandated at COP25 in 2019, so getting it up and running must be a priority in Glasgow.
