Our Advocacy and Outreach Project works to amplify the Loss and Damage demands of developing countries within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). To do so, we aim to facilitate coordination and complementarity amongst actors working on Loss and Damage and encourage them to engage with the needs of vulnerable developing countries.

We also push back on developed country narratives, undertake text analysis during negotiations, and hold bilateral meetings with Parties to try and move red lines. Through our advocacy and outreach projects we work to build relationships, networks and communities of practice with Loss and Damage champions who can play significant roles in amplifying the demands of developing countries and creating levers of change through their platforms, be they political, social or cultural.
