The Fourth Meeting of the Board of the Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage (FRLD) will take place between the 2nd and 5th of November, in Manilla in the Philippines (find the webcasts here). The provisional agenda (rev.1) includes important issues including but not limited to:
- Options and choices for the Fund to further operationalize a bottom-up country-led approach that promotes and strengthens national responses to loss and damage
- Options for early interventions by the Fund, including as early as 2025–2026
- Additional rules of procedure of the Board
- Participation of active observers in Board meetings and related proceedingssome text
- Arrangements for the participation of active observers
- Accreditation process for observers
- Consultative forums for engaging and communicating with stakeholders
- Dialogue with civil society
Across the next four days we will provide updates on all of the agenda items discussed in open sessions by the Board.
