On May 22, 2024, the Loss and Damage Collaboration convened a join working group call with the Advisory Group on Climate Change and Human Mobility and the Loss and Damage and the Challenges of Human Mobility and Displacement Working Group.

The call was attended by 40 plus participants, including members of both groups. The agenda for the call included:

1. New publication “How to Quantify and Measure Loss and Damage Associated with Displacement?”

2. Intel sharing on:

a. The First meeting of the Advisory Board of the Santiago Network

b. The first meeting of the Board of the Loss and Damage Fund (LDF)

3. Conversation on the meaningful participation of climate-induced migrants in the LDF Board (with guest speaker Isatis M. Cintron-Rodriguez of the Ace Observatory / Columbia University presenting on meaningful participation in the Loss and Damage Fund (see the related brief here).

4. Loss and Damage and Human Mobility at the 2024 Bonn Climate Conference
