Ahead of the first meeting in 2024 of the Ad Hoc Work Programme (MAHWP) of the New Collective Quantified Goal on Climate Finance (NCQG), this brief built on the Co-Chairs’ Input Paper for the First Meeting providing a response for each element focusing on key Loss and Damage priorities. Now as we go into the second meeting of the MAHWP, which is scheduled to take place on the 5th, 8th, 10th and 11th of June, during the 2024 Bonn Climate Conference we are making this paper publicly available as its content remains relevant.
